Challenges

10 . Ac Milan Game, Curling Championships - Literally done nothing on this. will look into next month when have time

9. Save 10%. Get paid on friday when I get back from peru, also pick up my security deposit so will have a bumper amount of cash this month. Will try to put 25% away this month and next one to when I get another decent payday

8. Rugby Coaching License. Looked online at some courses. Going to be tough based in Colombia. Start coaching the select side and the development programme starts this weekend when I am back. Have been put in touch with president of colombian rugby, who knows what may come of that though. Have so much plans for the kids just hope I get a decent turnout as going to be tough to implement all the things if not.

7. Decent Cam. have looked at prices of some sdlr's etc, kind of pricey here in colombia, adam best mate from home works in camera shop so might be able to get me a decent one cheaper. Have to get reacquainted with him actually. been too long

6. Learn Spanish. Peru has been shit so far, but i do understand more and making an effort to speak more considering everyone here has some sort of english. Need to sit down and use the online tools i have in the past and get finger out basically.

5. 3 hours creativity per week. We are in week three of the year and so far nothing. I have 9 hours to catch up on. Might start tonight as hostel is shit boring

4. 12 places in 12 months. Well I am in Peru at the moment, spent few days in Lima and then headed south to the desert to watch the Dakar Rally. got burnt to shit but was great to see. I am a big kid at heart and was surrounded by huge machines in a giant sandbox. What kid woulndt love that.

3. 52 Different Dishes. Again struggled on this, week 3 and nothing, Going to learn to cook ajiacco when back, its a really popular and famous colombian soup with different types of potatoes, chicken with side of avocado, rice, plantain. Found a good place for dinner so going to go there tomorrow and pick the most peruvian thing on the menu and try that when back. So by next weekend I will have at least one of them completed

2. Business. Have been working on this up until I left for peru. need to draw up proper business plan, This trip has set me back in a lot of things but has to be done.

1. Met lots of new people on the trip but thats to be expected. Spent the day with jordi and his catalan girlfriend, not a lick of english between them, just arrived in peru, knew someone in the dakar so following it before travelling for 3 months, nice people. Got chatting to MariClara also who is a photographer who used to work on cruise ships for 5 years. Got a great pic of her lying in the sand taking a shot of a helicopter just landing. Chatted to Johann a belgian guy who works for greenpeace who is just here studying the climatic effects of mineral mining on the country. These are all from travels and it is to be expected to meet others. The goal is to meet other colombians etc and people there, get myself out of my comfort zone as that is not happening right now

Overview, completed nothing of my weekly goals, one out of 12 on my trips and thats it. been a failure so far to say the least. Obviously tackling all of them right away to catch up will be tough but need to give it my best shot and get a proper routine in place
